Dan Ryan is a resident of Franklin, TN. He has been happily married to Gena, a Kentucky Native for almost 28 years. Dan is a graduate of Murray State University, Tennessee State University and Peabody College of Vanderbilt University.
Dan & Gena are the parents of two sons; Daniel, a 2010 graduate of Vanderbilt University and Matthew, a junior at Auburn University.
You will notice a pattern has developed here. Dan is an SEC graduate, his wife is from Kentucky, and both of his sons attend SEC schools. There are no accidents where God is involved. We were pre-destined (yes, I am a Calvinist) to be SEC fans and we take this responsibility quite seriously.
This blog is about sports, but with a strong bent toward the Southeastern part of the country, the area we know best. We will do our best to provide an open-minded perspective, but in the end we will always lean toward the SEC. I just do not want you to be surprised.
We do invite your comments and we hope to see you become a regular contributor to our discussion.
